Thanks for visiting my website. Check back again for any updates, and in the meantime, check out these other fascinating places...

Another Roadside Attraction

This is the wonderful choir I sing in. With about 25 members, and currently lead by Tanya Sparke, we do an eclectic mix of alternative rock songs and world music from Rufus & Martha Wainwright, The Verve, Nick Cave, The Church, The Smiths, Elvis Costello, Neil Finn, Hunters and Collectors, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Hoodoo Gurus, Beck and Don McGlachen, and then there are heaps of indigineous songs from different cultures such as East Timor, South Africa, Gana, Georgia, Samoa, Cuba, Papua New Guinea, Jewish songs, Croatian songs, you name it, there's always a new one coming. You can join our mailing list if you want by going to the site above.

The Spooky Men's Chorale

A very cool Georgian style all male choir who do covers and originals. And I quote: "We are the Spooky Men, we dream of mastadons, practice mysterious hand shakes, and we can grow beards if we want to..." Definitely worth a visit.

Michael Franklin (also known as Michael Olliffe)

A very talented songwriter indeed.

Doog and Melissa's personal site

Great freinds of mine. Full of interesting things from music and geneology to lists of favourite things, and lots of esoteric references. Includes links to Dougal McPhie's repertoire of new original songs (Orpheum, The Ruby Pin and Swallow). Very cool.

Station Oz

Dance music label and creative hub for Marcus St John. I've been known to hibernate here. They are always looking for talent, especially of a dance nature, and especially if you are icing out in Canberra, brrrrrr...

Centre for The Mind

An amazing school of research located at ANU and Sydney University run by Professor Allan Snyder - co-inventor of fibre optics and recipient of the Marconi Prize. Considered to be one of the Top 10 minds in modern day Australia, and one of the top 100 minds of the 20th Century. Find out what it is that makes a champion or explore the relationship between madness and genius.

The Vision Tarot

Tim Thompson created this amazing photographic Tarot that I was priveliged enough to be included in. There are a number of Canberra musos in it, and by all counts sells quite well in Belgium!

Strange News from the Closest Planet

Some occasional strange stuff.

Landmark Education

Fantastic courses that have made a huge difference to me and my life. They are done all over the world, are well priced and will give you the kick up the butt you need to "get on with it"! If there's stuff that's stopping you from getting the most out of life, and you can't work out what it is, then you'll love this. Somewhere between buddhism, existentialism, nihalism and more knowledge and research than you could poke a stick at. I don't know anyone who wouldn't benefit from these courses, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN POWER! Essential for forward thinking humans being...

Vipassana Mediation Centres

This is where I did my first course in Bhuddist meditation. Spend 10 days in silence doing the meditation technique which Buddha taught to most of northern India for the second part of his life after becaming enlightened. That was 2,500 years ago, and it's still totally relevant. The courses are run all over the world and will take you to a new level of awareness. "The Buddha never taught a sectarian religion; he taught Dhamma - the way to liberation - which is universal." - S.N. Goenka

Buckminster Fuller Institute

Inventor of the Geodesic Dome - the strongest structure known to man. This is a tribute to an amazing mind. "When one looks at the shapes and angles of the tetrahedron and its children, the mind subconsciously remembers or acknowledges using these angles in the formation of thought and like a sympathetic vibration begins to be conscious of certain processes." - Buckminster Fuller

Theosophy Online

Esoterica at it's greatest!

eWealth - "We help people get off the treadmill"

And this is where I've been known to hide during the daylight hours...

The Internet Marketing Center

Go here to really cash in on the web!!!!! Mad if you don't.

School of Philosphy

Get sent a different quote each day from absolutely any area of philosophy. You will be amazed what gems will arrive in your inbox to make you think.

SETI - The Search for Extraterestrial Intelligence

Download SETI@home. Help in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. Ever see the film Contact with Jodi Foster? It's based on a Carl Sagan novel and is about an astronomy project which requires huge amounts of computer power to process all of the information being gathered from space!

Earth Changes

A tad bizarre. Check out this 'future map of the world' - the way the world will look after massive changes to tectonic plates creating new land masses and oceans!

David Icke

One of the greatest conspiracy writers of all. This guy spews out conspiracies, correlations and knowledge like you wouldn't believe. So much of it makes sense and can be verified, and yet so much more is so far fetched it's frightening. Hard to work out if it's the insane ramblings of a madman or the warnings of someone with more knowledge than is commonly allowed into society!
